- Fresh lychees1.5 cups, peeled and pitted
- Water2 cups
- Sugar1/4 cup, or to taste
- Rose water1-2 teaspoons, to taste
- Sparkling water or club soda2 cups, chilled
- Ice cubesAs needed
- Edible rose petals (optional)For garnish

Simmer 1.5 cups of pitted lychees with 2 cups of water and sugar for 10 minutes until lychees are soft. Let cool slightly.

Puree the lychee mixture in a blender until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any solids.

Stir in 1 teaspoon of rose water into the lychee puree. Taste and add more rose water if desired.

Fill serving glasses or flutes with ice cubes.

Pour the lychee-rose mixture into each glass, filling about halfway.

Top off with chilled sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently.

Garnish with an edible rose petal and a fresh lychee if desired. Serve immediately.
