- Onion, finely chopped1/2 cup
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Cumin1 teaspoon
- Black pepper1/2 teaspoon
- Plain yogurt2 cups
- Butter4 tablespoons
- Paprika1 teaspoon
- Dried mint1 tablespoon

Make the dough: Combine flour, egg, water, and salt. Knead until smooth. Let rest for 30 minutes.

Prepare the filling: Mix ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Roll out the dough thinly and cut into small squares (about 1 inch).

Place a small amount of filling onto each square and fold to create small dumplings. Pinch edges firmly to seal.

Boil the manti in salted water for 10-15 minutes, or until they float and are cooked through.

While manti boil, prepare the yogurt sauce: Mix yogurt with minced garlic and a pinch of salt.

Prepare the spiced butter: Melt butter in a small pan, stir in paprika and dried mint. Cook for 1 minute.

Drain the manti and arrange on a serving plate. Top generously with the garlic-yogurt sauce, then drizzle with the spiced butter.
