- Egg noodles1 lb
- Pre-made duck stock6 cups
- Five-spice powder1 tsp
- Ginger1 inch piece
- Garlic2 cloves
- Soy sauce3 tbsp
- Rock sugar1 tsp
- Water1 cup
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Scallionsfor garnish
- Cilantrofor garnish

Slice duck breast thinly. In a pot, combine duck stock, water, five-spice powder, sliced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, and rock sugar. Bring to a simmer.

Add duck slices to the simmering broth. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until duck is cooked through and tender.

Season the broth with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain well.

To serve, place noodles in bowls. Ladle the hot broth and duck slices over the noodles. Garnish with chopped scallions and cilantro.
