- Beef sirloin or flank steak1 lb
- Thin wheat noodles10 oz
- Pre-cut stir-fry vegetable mix3 cups
- Garlic2 cloves
- Ginger1/2 inch piece
- Soy sauce3 tbsp
- Hoisin sauce1 tbsp
- Sesame oil1 tsp
- Cornstarch1 tsp
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Water2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Green onionsfor garnish

Slice beef thinly. In a bowl, combine beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp cornstarch, and a pinch of black pepper. Marinate for 10 minutes.

Cook wheat noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Mince garlic and ginger. Prepare the sauce by whisking together remaining soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and water.

Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef and set aside.

Add remaining 1 tbsp vegetable oil to the wok. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add the pre-cut vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.

Return beef to the wok. Pour the sauce over the ingredients and stir-fry until heated through and slightly thickened.

Add the cooked noodles to the wok. Toss everything together until well combined and noodles are coated.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped green onions.
