  • Ground pork100g
  • Canned mushrooms, chopped2 tbsp
  • Shallots1 tbsp, minced
  • Fish sauce1 tsp
  • Black pepper1/4 tsp
  • Banana leaves or parchment paper4 pieces

    In a pan, sauté minced shallots until fragrant. Add ground pork and cook until browned. Stir in canned mushrooms, fish sauce, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes and set aside.

    Prepare the banana leaves or parchment paper: cut into large pieces suitable for wrapping.

    In a bowl, combine rice flour, tapioca starch, salt, and vegetable oil. Gradually add water while whisking to form a smooth batter.

    Pour a small amount of batter into the wrapper, add a spoonful of the filling, and cover with more batter. Fold the wrapper to form a compact shape, securing it tightly.
