- Fish sauce2 tsp
- Sugar1/2 tsp
- Black pepper1/4 tsp
- Salt1/4 tsp
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp, for frying
- Green onions1, thinly sliced

Finely mince or process the shrimp until it forms a paste. Transfer to a bowl.

Add minced garlic, shallots, fish sauce, sugar, black pepper, salt, and sliced green onions. Mix well.

Form the shrimp paste mixture into small, flat patties, about 1.5-2 inches in diameter.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Carefully place the patties in the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
