- Pre-made sour soup base (e.g., tamarind soup mix)50g
- Canned pineapple chunks1 cup
- Tomatoes1
- Bean sprouts100g
- Garlic2 cloves
- Fish sauce2 tbsp
- Sugar1 tbsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Water1.2 liters
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Cilantro1/2 bunch

Cut fish into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper.

Mince garlic. Cut tomato into wedges. Drain canned pineapple.

Heat oil in a pot, sauté garlic until fragrant.

Add fish pieces and sear lightly.

Pour in water, add sour soup base, pineapple, tomatoes, fish sauce, and sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
