- Canned diced tomatoes1 can (400g)
- Pineapple chunks (canned or fresh)1/2 cup
- Tamarind soup base paste2 tbsp
- Garlic2 cloves
- Fish sauce1 tbsp
- Sugar1/2 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Water1 liter
- Fresh dill or cilantrosmall bunch

Mince garlic. Drain the pre-cooked clams, reserving some brine if desired for extra flavor.

In a pot, sauté minced garlic. Add canned diced tomatoes and pineapple chunks. Cook for 2 minutes.

Pour in water and tamarind soup base paste. Bring to a boil. Season with fish sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper.

Add the drained clams to the simmering soup. Cook for 3-5 minutes until heated through.
