- Pre-made crab paste200g
- Beef shank or thinly sliced beef300g
- Tomatoes2 medium
- Tamarind soup base2 tbsp
- Rice vermicelli noodles400g
- Scallions2 stalks
- Cilantro1/2 bunch
- Garlic2 cloves
- Cooking oil2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Water1.5 liters

Slice beef thinly. Chop garlic, tomatoes, scallions, and cilantro.

Sauté garlic in oil until fragrant. Add tomatoes and cook until softened.

Add water, tamarind soup base, and pre-made crab paste to the pot. Bring to a simmer.

Add beef slices to the simmering broth and cook until done.

Cook rice vermicelli noodles separately.

Serve the soup over noodles, garnished with scallions and cilantro.
