- Panko breadcrumbs1.5 cups

- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Vegetable oil, for frying3 cups
- Sweet chili sauce, for dipping1/2 cup

Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.

Dredge each shrimp first in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat generously with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot or wok over medium-high heat to 350°F (175°C).

Carefully fry the shrimp in batches, about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy. Do not overcrowd the pot.
