- All-purpose flour1/4 cup
- Sugar1 tablespoon
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Black pepper1/2 teaspoon
- Water1/4 cup
- Vegetable oil for frying1/2 cup

In a large bowl, combine fresh corn kernels, glutinous rice flour, all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Gradually add water and mix until a thick batter forms. The batter should be thick enough to hold its shape.

Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of batter per cake into the hot oil. Flatten slightly with the back of the spoon.

Fry for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.

Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
