- Gochujang (Korean chili paste)3 tbsp

- Soy sauce1 tbsp
- Brown sugar2 tbsp
- Garlic powder1 tsp
- Sesame oil1 tsp
- Sesame seeds1 tsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Water2 tbsp

Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.

In a bowl, combine flour and cornstarch. Toss chicken pieces in the flour mixture until lightly coated.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).

Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

While chicken fries, prepare the sauce: In a small saucepan, whisk together gochujang, ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and water. Cook over medium heat until slightly thickened.
