Ingredients

- Ground pork1 lb
- Breadcrumbs1 cup
- Eggs2 large
- Parmesan cheese, grated1/2 cup
- Onion, finely chopped1 small
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Fresh parsley, chopped1/4 cup
- Milk1/4 cup
- Marinara sauce1 cup
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Mozzarella cheese, cubed (optional)1/2 cup

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, grated Parmesan, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.

If using mozzarella, flatten half the meat mixture in a baking dish, place the mozzarella cubes in the center, and cover with the remaining meat mixture, sealing the edges.

Pour marinara sauce over the top of the meatloaf.

Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
