Ingredients
- Pork shoulder700g, cut into 1-inch cubes
- Soy sauce3/4 cup
- Cane vinegar1/2 cup
- Garlic6 cloves, minced
- Whole black peppercorns1 tsp
- Bay leaves2
- Water1/4 cup
- Cooking oil1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

In a pot, combine pork shoulder, soy sauce, vinegar, minced garlic, peppercorns, bay leaves, and water. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until pork is tender.

Remove pork from the pot. Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the pork cubes until lightly browned.

Return pork to the pot with the sauce. Simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes to thicken the sauce.
