Ingredients

  • Pork shoulder700g, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Soy sauce3/4 cup
  • Cane vinegar1/2 cup
  • Garlic6 cloves, minced
  • Whole black peppercorns1 tsp
  • Bay leaves2
  • Water1/4 cup
  • Cooking oil1 tbsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste

Steps

    In a pot, combine pork shoulder, soy sauce, vinegar, minced garlic, peppercorns, bay leaves, and water. Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until pork is tender.

    Remove pork from the pot. Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

    Sear the pork cubes until lightly browned.
