- Cooked Jasmine rice4 cups
- Coconut milk1/2 cup
- Pandan leaves1-2 leaves, optional
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Ikan Bilis (dried anchovies)1/4 cup
- Peanuts1/4 cup
- Sambal Belacan1/4 cup
- Banana leaves or parchment paper4 sheets
- Vegetable oilfor frying

Gently warm the cooked rice with coconut milk, pandan leaves (if using), and salt until fragrant. Remove pandan leaves.

Fry the ikan bilis until crispy. Roast the peanuts.

Lay out the banana leaves or parchment paper. Place a portion of the warm rice in the center of each.

Top the rice with a spoonful of sambal, a sprinkle of ikan bilis, and peanuts.

Fold the leaves or paper to create a neat packet. Serve immediately.
