Ingredients
- Ground beef1 lb
- Soy sauce1/4 cup
- Brown sugar2 tbsp
- Sesame oil1 tbsp
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Ginger, grated1 tsp
- Onion, thinly sliced1/2 medium
- Green onions, chopped2
- Toasted sesame seeds1 tsp
- Cooked rice, for serving4 cups

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.

Add the ground beef to the marinade and mix well to coat. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through.

Add the sliced onion to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Stir in most of the chopped green onions and cook for another minute.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve the Korean ground beef mixture over hot cooked rice. Garnish with remaining green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
