Ingredients
- Ground beef1 lb
- Potatoes2 medium, diced
- Onion1/2 medium, chopped
- Garlic2 cloves, minced
- Tomatoes1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- Green olives1/2 cup, pitted and sliced
- Raisins1/4 cup
- Beef broth1/2 cup
- Cumin1 teaspoon
- Oregano1/2 teaspoon
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Vegetable oil2 tablespoons

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in minced garlic, cumin, and oregano. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add diced potatoes, diced tomatoes (with juice), sliced green olives, raisins, and beef broth. Season with salt and pepper.

Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and the sauce has thickened.
