    Marinate lamb with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, fennel seeds, dried ginger powder, cardamom powder, salt, and pepper.

    Heat ghee in a heavy pot. Add whole spices (cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves) and sauté briefly.
