Place the Vietnamese coffee filter (phin) over a glass.

Add the dark roast coffee grounds to the filter.

Gently press the grounds with the filter press.

Pour about 4 oz of hot water into the filter. Let it drip slowly into the glass.

While the coffee drips, add sweetened condensed milk to the glass.

Once dripping is complete, stir the hot coffee and condensed milk thoroughly until combined.
