- Apples (tart variety, e.g., Granny Smith)1kg

- Ground cinnamon2 tsp
- Raisins50g
- Breadcrumbs50g
- Butter (for brushing)50g
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)to taste

Prepare the dough: Combine flour, egg, oil, warm water, and salt. Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.

Prepare the filling: Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples. Toss with sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.

Roll out the dough: On a floured surface, stretch the dough as thinly as possible, almost transparent. You can use a clean tablecloth underneath to help stretch.

Assemble the strudel: Brush the stretched dough with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly with breadcrumbs. Spread the apple filling over one-third of the dough.

Roll up the strudel carefully, using the tablecloth to help lift and roll. Seal the edges.

Place the strudel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the top with melted butter.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 40-50 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
