- Salted egg yolks6
- Curry leaves2 sprigs
- Bird's eye chilies (chili padi)3
- Garlic4 cloves
- Ginger1 inch piece
- Butter2 tbsp
- Evaporated milk1/4 cup
- Sugar1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Wateras needed
- Vegetable oil3 tbsp
- Breakfast cereal (unsweetened, e.g., cornflakes)1 cup

Clean and prepare the crabs. Cut into pieces. Steam or boil until almost cooked. Drain.

Mash the salted egg yolks.

Finely chop garlic and ginger. Slice chilies. Pick curry leaves.

Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a separate pan. Fry the breakfast cereal until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.

In a wok, heat butter and remaining 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Add curry leaves, garlic, ginger, and chilies. Sauté until fragrant.

Add mashed salted egg yolks. Stir until foamy and slightly dry.

Add the pre-cooked crab pieces. Toss to coat with the sauce.
