- Chicken wings1 kg
- Fish sauce4 tbsp
- Sugar2 tbsp
- Fresh garlic6 cloves, minced, plus 2 cloves thinly sliced
- Fresh chili peppers2-3, finely chopped, plus extra for garnish
- Vegetable oilfor frying
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Water2 tbsp
- Cornstarch3 tbsp

Pat chicken wings dry. Season with salt and pepper.

Toss wings with cornstarch until lightly coated.

Fry wings in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through. Drain.

In a pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped chili peppers. Fry until garlic is golden and fragrant.

Add fish sauce, sugar, and water to the pan. Stir until sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens.

Add the fried chicken wings to the sauce. Toss well to coat. Add sliced garlic and extra chili if desired.

Cook for 1-2 minutes until the glaze is sticky.
