- Fish sauce3 tbsp

- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Vermicelli rice noodles300g
- Fresh mint leaves1/2 cup
- Romaine lettuce1/2 head
- Cucumber1
- Lime1
- Roasted peanuts2 tbsp

Cook vermicelli noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse. Set aside.

Mince garlic. In a bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, 2 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Stir-fry the beef: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet.

Prepare the dressing: Whisk together 1 tbsp fish sauce, 0.5 tbsp sugar, juice of 1 lime, and 1/4 cup water. Adjust seasoning.

Assemble: Divide noodles among bowls. Top with shredded lettuce, sliced cucumber, and the cooked ground beef. Garnish with mint and peanuts.
