A simplified version of Bánh Cuốn Thanh Trì, using pre-made rice paper wrappers to achieve a similar texture and flavor with less preparation time. Filled with seasoned ground pork and served with a quick dipping sauce.

- Rice paper wrappers12-16 sheets
- Ground pork200g
- Shallots30g
- Garlic1 clove
- Fish sauce1.5 tbsp
- Sugar0.5 tsp
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Waterfor dipping wrappers
- Fried shallotsfor garnish
- Fresh cilantrofor garnish
- Lime juicefor dipping sauce

Finely chop shallots and mince garlic. Sauté shallots and garlic in 1 tbsp vegetable oil until fragrant. Add ground pork and cook until browned. Season with 1 tbsp fish sauce and 0.5 tsp sugar. Set aside.

Prepare the dipping sauce: Mix 1.5 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tsp sugar, and 50ml water. Add lime juice to taste.

Dip one rice paper wrapper in warm water for a few seconds until pliable. Lay it flat on a clean surface.

Place a portion of the cooked pork filling near one edge of the wrapper. Add some cilantro if desired.

Fold the sides of the wrapper inwards, then roll it up tightly from the filling side to create a log.

Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Arrange the rolled Bánh Cuốn on a serving plate. Garnish generously with fried shallots and fresh cilantro.
