- Starfruit, sliced1 large
- Fish sauce3 tbsp
- Sugar1 tbsp
- Garlic, minced1 clove
- Ginger, grated1 tsp
- Water1/4 cup
- Black pepper1/4 tsp
- Vegetable oil1 tsp
- Cilantrofor garnish

Combine fish sauce, sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, water, and black pepper in a bowl. Stir until sugar dissolves.
