- Daikon radish250g
- Shrimp (peeled and deveined)150g
- Fish sauce3 tbsp
- Sugar2 tbsp
- Garlic (minced)3 cloves
- Shallots (minced)1
- Black pepper1 tsp
- Water150ml
- Cilantro (for garnish)small bunch

Cut pork belly into 1.5-inch cubes. Peel and cut daikon radish into 1-inch cubes. Prepare shrimp.

Mince garlic and shallots.

Marinate pork belly with fish sauce, minced garlic, minced shallots, and black pepper for 20 minutes.

In a pot, heat sugar over medium heat until caramelized. Add pork belly and stir to coat.

Add daikon radish and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes.

Add the shrimp to the pot. Continue to simmer, uncovered, for another 10-15 minutes, or until shrimp are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

Adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
