- Bulgarian white cheese (Sirene)150g, crumbled
- Unsalted butter100g
- Fresh garlic3 cloves, minced
- Fresh dill2 tbsp, chopped

Prepare the dough as in the Traditional Purlenki recipe (Steps 1-4).

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and gently knead in the crumbled sirene cheese until evenly distributed.

Divide the dough into 8 portions and shape into flat discs.

Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let rest for 15 minutes.

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Melt butter with minced garlic and chopped dill. Simmer briefly until fragrant.

Brush the hot purlenki with the garlic-dill butter.
