- Tomatoes3 medium, pureed
- Ginger-Garlic Paste2 tbsp
- Green Chilies2, finely chopped
- Peas (frozen or fresh)1 cup
- Ghee or Vegetable Oil3 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder1.5 tsp
- Garam Masala1 tsp
- Red Chili Powder1/2 tsp (or to taste)
- Saltto taste
- Water1/2 cup
- Fresh Cilantrofor garnish

Heat ghee or oil in a heavy-bottomed pan or pot over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Stir in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for a minute until fragrant.

Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it's no longer pink.

Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Pour in the tomato puree and cook until the oil starts to separate from the mixture.

Add peas and water. Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes, or until the beef is tender and the gravy has thickened.
