- Cooked rice (preferably day-old)2 cups
- Kimchi1 cup, chopped
- Kimchi juice1 tablespoon
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste)1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder1/2 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil1 tablespoon
- Eggs2
- Green onions1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish)
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add chopped kimchi and cook for 2 minutes until slightly softened.

Push kimchi to one side of the skillet. Crack the eggs into the other side and scramble them. Once cooked, break them up and mix with the kimchi.

Add the cooked rice, kimchi juice, gochujang, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry vigorously, breaking up rice clumps, until everything is well combined and heated through (about 5 minutes).
