- Quail eggs, hard-boiled and peeled12-16
- Dried goji berries20 g
- Dried jujubes (red dates)20 g
- Astragalus root slices15 g
- Ginger, sliced30 g
- Water1.5 liters
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Rinse chicken pieces and blanch in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.

In a large pot, combine blanched chicken, peeled quail eggs, goji berries, jujubes, astragalus root slices, and ginger.

Add 1.5 liters of water. Bring to a boil over high heat.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, or until chicken is tender and quail eggs have absorbed flavor.
