- Pork shoulder700 g
- Pre-cooked hard-boiled eggs4
- Fish sauce3 tbsp
- Brown sugar3 tbsp
- Garlic2 cloves
- Shallots2 cloves
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Water300 ml
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Black pepper1/4 tsp

Cut pork shoulder into 1.5-inch cubes. Season with salt and pepper.

Mince garlic and shallots.

In a pot, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add pork and brown on all sides.

Add minced shallots and garlic, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Sprinkle brown sugar over the pork and stir until it begins to caramelize.

Pour in fish sauce and water. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes, or until pork is tender.

Halve the pre-cooked eggs and add them to the pot for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
